This is never fun. Below is a checklist of common things to do before reaching out to the carrier:
- Verify the shipping address was correct
- Check for any "missed delivery" slips from the carrier
- See if the delivery notice indicates someone else accepted it
- Wait 48 hours after delivery notice. In rare instances there are premature notifications of delivery
- Did add shipping insurance on to your order with Route+? File a claim here
We hope it doesn't come to this, but we understand that things can change.
Please let us know as soon as possible about any order cancellations by contacting us here.
If it is too late to cancel an order, simply wait for the product to be delivered and start the return process by clicking here.
Shipping policy
We want our neon to get you as quickly and safely as possible. Please reach out to us if you have any questions on shipping prior to your order.
Orders typically ship within 12-48 hours of purchase, Monday - Friday. Weekend orders will ship on the Monday.
Shipping typically takes 3-5 days depending on the destination location. COVID impacts to shipping services may cause an additional 1-2 day delay.
Yes! All orders will have a tracking number provided as soon as it is ready.
Yes! glowmke is proud to partner with Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. By selecting Route+ at checkout your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed. We are excited to offer this service to you and we highly recommend you use Route+ package protection at checkout.
*Claims for packages marked "delivered" yet not received and where there is no evidence of “porch piracy” must be made 5 days after “delivery date” but no longer than 15 days to ensure it was not misdelivered or easily found around the premises." Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.

Returns policy
The nature of our neon lights are fragile and handmade. We will accept returns on unopened and unused items within 30 days of the order date. A refund on your purchase is eligible for regular priced items only, excluding sale items and promotional periods. Please reach out to us if you have any questions on returns prior to your order.

This really sucks but unfortunately can happen from time to time. We do our best to pack our neon in secured, foam packaging to help deter a rough shipping experience.
We will open a shipping damage claim on your behalf. Please keep the product in the shipping box, all packaging, and any receipts. Click here to read and go through our shipping damage claim process.
Product information
Our neon lights are designed in Milwaukee and then handmade by expert glass blowers from our world-class partner in China. Please reach out to us if you have any questions on our products prior to your order.
Setup is super simple and takes less than a minute.
(1) Place the base on a level surface.
(2) Remove the glass tube and wipe it with a dry cloth to clean any debris.
(3) Carefully hold the plastic shaft attached to the glass tubing with one hand and insert
into the base. The front of the design should be opposite the locking tab on the base.
It will snap in with little effort. Do not apply pressure on the glass tube.
(4) Plug the power adapter into the base and then into your indoor power outlet.
(5) Use the switch on the back of the base to toggle on and off.
(6) To disassemble: turn the switch to off position and unplug the adapter.
Press the locking tab, gently hold the neon glass near the shaft & lift to carefully remove.
Neon desk lights have a typical lifespan of around 10,000 hours. They can be left on all day or used for 3-5 hours at a time. Your usage will determine the ultimate lifespan.
Glass tubes are heated by fire to break and shape to become the ultimate design. They are injected with noble gases such as neon, argon, and lined with phosphorus powder to create the different colors. Electricity causes the atoms in the gases to eventually output energy, which products the light. The tubes are sealed and the backs are coated to give the hidden light effect.
Neon desk lights output little to no heat. The glass will be cool to the touch. The power adapter will be warm the longer it as used, similar to any other electronic device.
Yes. The tubing is made of glass and contains various noble gases. Neon lights are not repairable if the glass is damaged.
Nope! Our neon lights do not emit any noise.
Our neon lights are manufactured by our industry-leading partner in China. They are home to expert glass blowers who have produced neon for over 20 years.
Yes! This product is intended for indoor use only.
